Create Your Own Path
She started her keynote with powerful questions:
- What do I want *now*?
- How do I learn about myself?
- What is leadership and success really?
She shared her personal answers and her stories to answering those questions for herself. And then she dropped the quote of all quotes:
We cannot look left or right to figure out what we do next or if we are doing it right. Because we are out here forging paths that have never been created before. So we can only look within.
Just like you, just like me.
We can’t look at someone else and see how generations of women in tech created profitable, enjoyable careers because we are creating new career paths, new career experience, and new realities for ourselves every day.
Sure, we can get inspiration from women, like I do from Abby as one example, and it is up to you to find the answers for what you really want within you.

Abby was asked what one thing we could do to change up the entire system and support women in tech. Her answer was clear, concise, and true:
PAY WOMEN MORE
Hell yes.
I still remember when I learned I was earning 30,000Euro less than my direct colleague. I was pissed, felt cheated and betrayed, and was instantly super-demotivated.
