Celebrate BRAVE Podcast
Together we are redefining BRAVE:
how we identify | how we live it | how we celebrate it
What Can We Learn from Doing Something Scary
Episode Description
The top four learnings that Nicole gathered from taking a risk
What investing in yourself actually means
Why asking for help is awesome
HIGHLIGHTS:
Follow the inspiration
The inspiration to take a risk was designed around my vision to live even more in generosity and inspiration. We also talked about how when we want to give more, we actually have to have more. When Nicole started to feel too vulnerable in taking this risk, she returned again and again to her inspiration to stay BRAVE.
Risk and doing scary things leads to growth
Everytime you do something new and scary, you can only grow. Win or lose, succeed or fail, you will grow. Make sure you identify how you will evaluate and grow no matter what the output is so that you create an outcome that serves you.
The investment today is what causes the powerful results in the future
Nicole learned so much about herself and how much she has already grown through her own investments in the past 10 years, especially the last three years.
Asking for help is OK, in fact we need each other
Asking for help is a win-win-win. First, you grow within yourself. Second, when someone answers the call for help, she grows her own self-trust and our connections with others. Third, when we see another person ask for help, we learn that it is safe to ask for help and offer it to others.
Get obsessed about how you feel, then answer the questions that start with “how”
We are trained to ask “how” but we must absolutely get obsessed with how we feel and then answer the question. Every coaching showed again that you already know the how. However, it is in the feeling first – the playing and the suffering – so that you can experience the breakthrough yourself.
