Last week’s #CelebrateBRAVEPodcast episode was all about how to enjoy your career. Less than 20 minutes of inspiration and storytelling created SO. MUCH. ACTION. by #womenintech all over the world.
At least one woman realized that her thought, “I can’t afford to spend money on my career,” was bullshit.
Cause when she added up the “stuff” she spent on herself — and doesn’t freaking remember! — in 10 months of 2021 …. it was WAY more than most certifications, most skill-build experiences, and many coaching packages (including my own).
She had the money and she was already spending it. But she wasn’t spending it on what will really make a difference in her career:
HERSELF.
Her skills. Her behaviors. Her network. Her brain. Her goals.
This specific woman in tech has one big goal for 2022. This year she is going to invest in reaching that goal. And I am *F’ING JAZZED* to be her partner in accomplishing it.
