I did not succeed.
Last weekend I ran my 6th half marathon. My goal was 3 hours.
I crossed the line at 3:01:24.
I did not succeed.
Before you jump in and tell me how the experience was the win, that I accomplished what millions never attempt, that I did not give up on myself, know this:
I agree.
And I am offering an opportunity to acknowledge that I did not succeed and STILL celebrate.
I’m inviting you into the opportunity, maybe your first, to embrace my failure and still celebrate my effort.
So that you can do it for yourself too.
Here is why it matters that you start:
We are too often scared of the word no, so we don’t ask.
We are too often scared of failure, so we don’t try.
But I am telling you, showing you, living the BRAVE truth that that I can fail and still celebrate the F*CK outta my results.
You can too.
Ask. Know the answer.
Attempt. Experience the fullness.
Build Your BRAVE.
And right now, celebrate with me:
💥🥳🎉 I ran my sixth half marathon!
🤩🎉🎉💥💥 I finished!
🥺 I did not succeed. 🐙
….and I already signed up for my next!
