How do you make choices? Do you show the growth or do you hide in pretend success?
Jenn had to rethink a retreat she was offering and she chose to do it publicly, openly, with brave love for the people she serves and leads.
One of the things that pulls me towards Jenn is how failure doesn’t scare her and disappointment doesn’t stop her.
The reason I adore Jenn is because she ignored every single piece of “guru” advice that is based on pretending to be someone or something she isn’t *or* created scarcity, lack, or pressure in others.
Because, like Jenn says, and I strongly agree with: “Real leadership requires honesty and vulnerability. If you hide disappointment, bypass it, or pretend it’s not happening, you erode trust with your people. You also tell them it’s not ok to try new ideas because it’s not ok to fail.”
In this conversation we talk about ethics, bravery, joy, and making powerful choices…sometimes in public.
